Teaching, writing, leading…they all connect for me. All three have allowed me to share my passions, create awareness, and facilitate growth in others and myself.

Growing up when I asked what I wanted to be, the answer for me was always the same. A teacher and a writer.

I’ve be fortunate to spend my life doing almost exactly what my ten-year-old self had in mind. Teaching has been at the core of every position I’ve had in education. Writing has been a part of my professional focus, but also my personal lifeboat for as long as I can remember. And when you love what you do, leadership follows.
